Default Are 2 heads better than 1~Woodtrapper & TnArtist

I met Davy{woodtrapper} at a art show I was attending in Roan Mtn,Tn last June. He walked up with 2 neat carvings he had done in Mtn Lauel. Every since we have been friends! At my last art show this past Nov,Davy and his family dropped by,I ask him what have you carved new this time??
Well he had this GREAT mans head carved in a huge Mtn Lauel stick, the handle was guessing 10" long and curved upwards. I really liked this carving the best from all of what I had seen of his carvings so far!
I ask him what would you sell me that for?{ I have never in my life bought any ones art work} He told me,he liked a carved Indian bust I had carved. I told him think it over tonight and tomorrow{Sunday} the last day of this show,,we can swap art work if you like?
Sunday I came home with this really neat carved Mtn Lauel of Davys and he had the Indian bust.
I didnt touch it till last month{Jan.} but seeing I walk with a cane at times and have carved about 30 canes,I thought well if I ever wanted to really use this cane to walk with I had better get rid of some of this heavy wood. I then started cutting the handle down and carved finger gips for my hand and a bear from a knot on top of this stick, under Davys neat mans head he'd carved, I carved a Indian,a standing bear and a mtn man.
Ive carved alot of nice walking canes ,some with carved bone handles but this Laurel cane that Davy carved 1st will be past down to my children.
I cant climb nor even walk alot but Davy's home is hanging on a Mtn and he loves walking his dogs through the mtns and collecting knots & lauel which he does such a great job carving in them!! I "appreciate" him for this mtn laurel stick so much!

SOooooooooo are 2 heads better than 1 ?? I more than think so!!!
