Default 2 good thing's

I took some advice from the board and went in search of a filleting glove, carving gloves are all on the net and nowhere local and usualy around £30 but the local tackle shop had a filleting glove for £5 (about $7) that was unbranded but looks like a Rapala

And also I got a flexcut splipstrop and gold compound, oh boy are they getting sharper, used the gold compound on my leather strop and could hear the difference.

Glove should be fine, I have one, but I did learn right quick, you can still stab yourself even when wearing it!?><":{+_)(^$$

It does look just like the Rapala . It won't save you against the stab , especially with a pointy detail knife but it will stop the majority of the cuts . Even with the glove it is a good idea to practice staying out of the line of fire . That is a great price by the way .

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.
