Whatever 1 gets the other gets. Cindys is Weeping Cherry that died in her yard,so it's getting another life. Suzies is Sweet Gum I got fromTreeline. Sweet Gum is heavy for it's size. The leather strap is Hand Tooled with their names. The handles are wrapped with Masons Cotton Line. I wanted to use leather but couldn't find any locally. Chipped Carved Wheat and Woodburned names. Looking close I put a hand made Marble on top of Cindys and on top side of Suzies. Finished with BLO and sprayed with Satin Clear Poly U. Merle

Personalized canes .. what a great gift Merle ... I can see you got two lucky daughters with flowers and canes both .. Really like the leather straps .. gives a professional look to them .. great job merle .. gene

I'll be using that marble idea - thanks. Those are special canes and are no double appreciated by the daughters. The way you did the handles I like also - another idea I'll be borrowing. Great work Merle. Patrick |

WOW!! I have a son and daughter and I did a walking staff for each awhile back Wish I had seen yours first as thiers would look better and be more personalized. Great Job |
