Fly Fisher - you just have to stop posting these amazing minature chains as I'll soon run out of superlatives for your work. Another amazing example of fine chain work. Have you ever tried a twisted chain? I have that on my 'some-day-to-do-bucket-list'.

Is you work table an old jewler's desk?

The chain and "ball in cage" is amazing enough but how do you do the swivel???

Great, use for that doweling do you think that dowels are made from basswood? Your work is just wonderful.

Thanks Ron Ive not done a twisted chain, what do they look like and Ill give it a go. Yes i work on a jewellers bench had it since i started as a jeweller 20 years ago.

Cheers Tim you have to make yourself a tool that which looks like a small knife thats been bent in the middle at a right angle.

Thanks Kathy. I would have thought doweling can be made from any sort of , the one ones i used were really hard like box wood thats why i was able to carve a twist in the end.
