Default Zeus

I finished this up today, carved in Aspen from a tree I cut down a couple years ago.

Thanks windsong,
I carved a couple of mermaids and had decided to carve a merman, his tail wasn’t working out so he got legs, a lightening bolt and became Zeus. Aspin and bass are similar, with Aspin a bit bigger grained so less detail. I cut down a couple trees on the mountain and have been using it a lot.
In the sticks of Wyoming Bass wood is not readily available, so I use what is on hand. I made a trip to a larger community and picked up a big piece of bass and I’m looking forward to carving with it.

Nice carving. By his expression I would say he is wondering what to do with that lightning bolt now that he is holding it.
