Here's my two new nominations: Shawn Cipa and Mark Gargac. Unless I missed someone else mentioning them. And I would second Chris Pye, Mark Yundt, and Fred Zavadil. Cheers ChuckT |

I am looking for some input. I have had it in the list but I do not know other details. Could someone tell me who "Goody" is and what carving style or subject we're talking? Thanks. John K Karver |

Sande Elkins, caricature carver from North central Tennessee, You caricature guys would love her stuff!!! Old-fashioned classic style, she's tremendous...I have been trying to get her to join here, I'll see if I can get a work or two of her's to post...lots of Santa stuff, Halloween stuff, and themed caricature scenes that include 10-30 different caricature carvings per work, in addition to the surrounding props. I really like Thor's idea of looking to different times and places for quality carvers. Does anyone else have names from other countries or other times we might add to the list? Would like to hear from you. John K Karver Quote:

Hi everyone, I have been away for seven weeks. Have looked forward to getting back on line and into carving. I see how many have checked into this post which is great. I do however wish that there were more responses to the question. Are there no more carvers to add to the list? Or perhaps you could help out by dropping in some info on carvers that do not have anything behind their name. I will up date the list with things you share. Thanks. K Karver - John |
