That is really a unique piece of work, different! The only thing I could think of to maybe improve it is to move the dog from under the lathe and place him to the left of the turner. A dog wouldn't lay under there long once the chips and dust started dropping. Just a suggestion.

One more thing....if you havent glued the lathe together it would really look neat if you put a shelf under the bed to hold the other tools he'd be using!

That is looking great Arnold! I see a bunch of heads behind him....is that in case he loses his head over turning? The Turner family, Turner, Crappy Turner, Snappy Turner LOL
