You're being way too modest!!! The pictures of your works turned out beautiful!! I noticed they changed the display area to put the works behind glass. Did they display them in a different building?
BTW, when do they hold the awards ceremony? I am wondering if it is prior to the seminars or after. I am still hoping to make it down there for this years event but we'll have to see what happens
Again great work!! |

| | Re: Woodcarvers Ezine Jan/Feb 2005 Thanks Tony. They did change the display site. It was in the back building that has a couple of tunnels nearby. Sorry, I'm not too familiar with the directions. I think it was a "mine" or "mill". Anyway, the carvings were spread out a little more - down a hall - and all were behind glass. You could actually get closer to the carvings as opposed to last year, because there was no fear of someone touching them.
The awards ceremony was the first Saturday after the judging. I did not go to any of the seminars, but I think the ceremony was before. I missed the ceremony.....they didn't notify me that I had won anything! I would have gone had I knew.

| | Re: Woodcarvers Ezine Jan/Feb 2005 I looked at the CCA web site and it appears that the seminars are the same weekend as the ceremony. They don't specify the ceremony date, but it is was the first Saturday last year. |

Not too worry, I'm sure it is just a start of a winning streak! It looks like the ceremony would be a good time. Thanks for all the info.
My wife is encouraging me to go, but it again is a busy year. I'll keep hoping though, if nothing else I'm thinking about competing. Thanks again for all the information.
