Default Western Caricature Blog

I wrapped up the first carving project today on my Caricature Carving Blog. It was fun doing this and I learned a few things. Have already picked a project for the next carving...."Boots"! This will be something a beginner should be able to handle. They will be mounted on a unique base. Following that I will do a "Westerndle" which should also be in the realm of a beginning carver. So stay tuned!!

P.S. How do I turn off those stupid Emoticons or whatever they're called!!

lynn,
It is really easy to turn off the smily's just go to the message menu and scroll to the Additional options under the first heading Miscellaneous Options the last box is "Disable smiles in text" put a check mark in the box and you wont be bothered anymore. Look forward to your next tutorial you said a beginner could follow along I hope I can keep up.
Colin

Lynn,

Thanks so much for the first project blog. Your time & efforts were well appreciated by many of us.

Personnally, I learned several important items from this project that will be retained and followed with each future carving I attempt. I'm just about competed with all major elements and time to build the "scene" then onward to painting.

Will post a pic when completed and I'm looking forward to your next project.

Again, THANK YOU. Bill
