| | Weather and leather "Weather and leather and men of small means
Hard ridin horses,biscuits and beans"
here is my interpretation of Lynn's camp cook.it has been a very interesting process learned a lot of new techniques.
Lynn's various postings and the rest of the above poem have got me thinking about working on a very large scene with multiple carvings.(don't know if i will ever get it started or finished. its got me thinking.
Frank
ps.i tried to stay true to Lynn's blog and used a box cutter, and detail knife |

| | Re: Weather and leather Another Winner!!! Way to go Frank! You guys are good students. How'd you like the feel of Old Reliable? I'm going to have to talk to Stanley Tools.....I have a feeling their going to have to increase production.
I assume the design on the apron is a Mill that is local to your area? Looks great. And the nice base really sets the whole scene off. CLASSY! |

| | Re: Weather and leather Good job Frank! Really nice details! I love to see how closely others turn out compared to Lynn's. Yeah, I still use my box cutter also.......pretty handy in my tool box now I must say!
