Default Two more Hobo's

Here's a couple of two new Hobo's I carved from basswood .. Also carved in the flat plane style .. My co-workers ask me how I get these guy's so ugly .. I simply tell them .. I carve in front of a mirror .. Thank you for letting me show ..

Keep carving them you can then carve a little hobo village.

Both are nice but I like the pin stripe suited one the best.

Gene, I really like your "style". How big are these carvings? This is something that I like to carve. Not TOO much detail, but enough to get the conception across.

Thank you for the kind comments .. The Hobo's are about 4 inches high . I love carving smaller figures and the flat plane style is my favorite .. It's just a different way of carving ... I dont carve all my figures this way .. But I love to use deep cut's to accent the face .. I know this isnt everyone's way of doing it .. But for me I like it ..
