| | Top Salesman in the USA Here's a little 10 inch carving I did for my son as a gift. He is carved from Basswood and painted with oils. He is standing on a US map and holding a top in his hand with a for sale tag.

I like that carving , never thought of putting a carving on a map ...good idea, I will store that in the back of my mind ....to use some day.

I like the idea of the map. I carved a bull not too long ago and mounted him on a mesquite pedestal that l carved to look like a T-bone steak (even left the yellow sapwood on one edge to represent fat) and nobody, but nobody, ever caught it. The ones that said anything at all thought it looked like the state of Texas. You never know............. |
