Default Tiny Guys Painted

Well .. work has been demanding .. but in between shifts .. I was able to finish painting the Tiny guys I ed in New Projects .. That and 2 more little hobos for a lady at the Casey Jones Village in Tenn. ( Will post them soon) .. Both are basswood in the flat plane style and they are 2 1/2 and 2 inches tall ..
Thanks for letting me share

Those are great, Gene! Man, every little cut on flat plane carving has to be so precise. I don't know how you do it! !

Very very nice Gene. Do you carve those from the corner of the block? Where the nose starts out as the corner, or on the flats? Did I make myself clear?? Thanks Tom H

Gene, you keep calling them "guys" but the smallest one looks like a saggy boobed wife to me. Neat job.

Excellent! I'm envious of your flat plane abilities!

Great job gene,

the paint really makes the details pop,

funny thing in carving ill never get use to is the different levels of detail achieved by the shadow play of lighting, wood burning, finishes, and paint
Each step increases the details twice of what they before...
im just wondering, about experimenting with antique finishes?

thanks for shairing, hope i can get that much detail out of my little guys...
