Default Tiki Dave

This is a centerpiece for my 1st Sgt in the reenactment outfit I belong too, the 63rd Tennessee Vol Inf. He has a tiki bar out on his deck.

It holds a tea candle in his noggin and is about 10 inches tall or so.

Hi Joe,

very nice job on the tiki candle holder. Like a mini-tiki torch. Must look nive on his patio at night.

Good one Joe, I sort of like Tikis myself. Are you pulling these off the top of your head, or do you have a book or something?

I just draw out what I think would look good on the wood. I am sure there are elements from different tiki as I enjoy looking at them all over the internet.

Next time I goto South Carolina on a reenactment I am bringing back a tree to carve a big one onto. I am getting a trailer to haul my gear this month so I will have room to do so.

Great idea Joe! We did a very similiar thing, only much simpler, for a martial arts banquet a number of years ago. We made them in mass and when the banquet was over there wasn't one to be found.
