Default Stumpy

Good Morning Everybody
Gene I used the Pattern to carve this little guy.You don,t know how much it helped.I drawed it out on paper and then i traced it out on the wood. That helped me to get started in the right direction that is what i was having trouble with getting started.See what a little help can do.I have a question for you how do you get that washed out look your do on your painting you know that aged look I don,t like the new look.
P.S PLEASE POST MORE FLAT PLANE CARVING PHOTOS THAT WHERE I,M GETTING MY IDEALS FROM.
Vic.

Looks good Vic.

Gene will give you good info on the painting, but I thin the paint down enough with water so that it takes several coats to get the shade you want. Definitely see thru....
