Whew!! Finally got this guy off the workbench and over to the paint table. Took a while but I think he's going to be a good one. I'm even thinking Auction!!! Will have the Blog updated later. Comments welcome.

Turned out really nice Lynn. I have been following along with this one. Not satisfied with the first two heads that I carved for mine, I am now working on head number 3. I think it's going to work ok. I think the biggest challenge has been the wagon wheel. I used a piece of black leather for the rim. It seemed to work really good. Thanks for the tutorial on this Lynn...Myron

Lynn, he came out really nice, can't wait to see the finished piece. I am going to try carving the arms separate on my next one to get a stronger grain pattern. Thanks for the advice,

Who knows? I just put it up and then hope for the best. The last bust or bottlestopper went for over 200.
