The carving is 11"x2" and was made from a piece of tupulo from the scrap wood box.....then painted with acrylics.

I was unsure which forum to post it to....holiday or caricature....or to post it at all.

They make boxes out of tupelo? humm never seen any that I know of? Good santa, try laminating some of the wood and you can fatten him up a bit....Mrs Claus would have a fit if he showed up that skinny......reflected on her cookin'! but then right after Christmas he looked like that, just flat ran it all off ha ha
