Default Stonewall Jackson - Ready for Action!

As the last skirmish is starting to settle down it's time to get back to what we're actually here for so here's old Stonewall all painted and ready to face that bunch of yahoos from up north. He's a little dark but I think that only adds to the mystery of the piece if there is any mystery. There are a few more photos of him on the Blog and as always your comments are welcome and appreciated.

WOWSERS!

Are the designs on the buttons painted on, Lynn? Or did you work some of your world-reknown tricks to emboss them???

Thanks for sharing!

Lynn, The hat braid, and the carved buttons are a great addition, and the blog is very clear now.

I painted that little embellishment on the buttons. I think it adds just an extra touch. Thanks for asking.

Holy cats that turned out great!

That is one dude that would put a quiver in your liver.

The hat, elongated face, flowing mustache and beard as well as his uniform comes together as one fantastic piece.

Lynn, he looks great in his new colors. I think the button detail adds a lot to the piece. Great idea.

Great Job Lynn. It reminds me of my great uncle Levi. A man about to take care of some serious business!
