Default "Should We Read Him His Rights?"

Here is a new scene I just wrapped up today. I really like it....lots of action and detail in a neat arrangement. Poor old Alkali Jones is just about to get his neck stretched for stealing that poor heifer. There are a lot more photos over on my blog site. Got the photos posted and will have the blog up this evening.

Appreciate your comments both here and on the Blog.

Now "that" is a fine piece of carving! Well done Lynn!!! Lots of detail, great painting, superb setting and a great sense of humor! Magnificant! You set a very high standard of excellence in carving Lynn, and are very generous in sharing your techniques in your blogs and here aboard. Well done.

Bob

Sorry Dave, but your wrong about the loops. I too thought that 13 was the standard number but it seems that's just an old superstition. I did some research and found that the noose is normally tied with six to eight turns. If tied with 13 the rope wouldn't be able to slide like it should.

Whether six, seven, eight or thirteen the outlook for Alkali still looks pretty grim!

That's just great! I have had to go back several times to look at your carving. It never fails to produce a smile.
