Default Sheriff*Pete

Pete was the Sheriff in our little town.He was known to keep the gun slingers down. He wasnt that tall, just big around and had the bigest feet to be found.

Know one knew where old Pete came from, some said,Old Med-E-Coal.But when it came to protecting us he was tough and it showed.

I remember that morning at dawn when bad Bart rode into town,"HEYyyyyy" wheres that Sheriff Pete, the clown!"

Around by the stables Pete,""Shoutted meet me in the street!""

As Sheriff Pete and old bad Bart faced off with thier guns beside their sides,we all ran to hide! We all knew just what our Sheriff could do.

Its up to you Sheriff,"draw" Shouted bad Bart! Right at that moment,Sheriff Pete turned around and droped his pants,we all knew bad Bart had no chance!

With such a firely wind, such a blast,we all knew bad Bart was a thing of the past. The sky turned toally black as bad Bart was on his horse and he didnt look back! The blue flame Sheriff Pete shot,it broke windows and cracked a few pots. I looked up to the sky,it killed two old buzzards that was just flying by!

After the dust and smoke cleared over head,I came out from hiding under my bed.
I walked up to Sheriff Pete and ask,Sir where do you get thoses powerfull blast that are so strong??
"CCCccc" I drinks alots of cactus whiskey and eats alots of the peppers all day long!!
This is my 6th bass wood caricature carving, hes 2 3/4 X 5 3/4 inches carved from one piece of bass wood. Theres alot of mistakes but for me its still fun just trying!

Your thoughts about Sheriff Pete are more than welcome.

Thks' Forrest

Thanks Bonnie, You know me and Im bad about rushing!! Im enjoying the bass wood the only problem I see about it,no matter how much sanding it still can have a little fuzz about it,most of my relief carvings are in oak, hickory, apple and other hard woods and theres no fuzz to them. Buttttt dont get me wrong,I like this bass wood, its so easy to carve and should I ever learn some real carving techniques,Im happy just trying.

Thanks again my friend,Forrest
