| | Re: shelf cat... jim i got the shelve mouse pattern in an old chip chats of the shelve mouse,
but i got this krazy cat that lives in my house, to see the thing you would think it was so depressed or on some kind of downers,
she is about 8-10 years old, and usually lays her belly on the foot stool or sofa arm with her head hanging over the edge of the cushion edge and her front paws hanging over as well. like shes pouting,.
well, me and the wife tease her and ask had her last friend left town,,,
if you need a picture ill try to catch one next time she gets in that position. |

| | Re: shelf cat... don't know about depressed, but i was snacking on a slice of turkey and she just snuck it out of my hand, something she has never done..
she has not assumed the position yet jim, but ill get that photo yet.
i did find a free pattern though on a wood carving site Raparee mentioned earlier http://www.minnesotawoodcarvers.com/patterns/04cat.html
this picture/image is to big to post here.. but its some what the same
difference is my cat puts her chin on the rest and hangs both front paws over the edge

Jim | got closer jim,
she wouldnt lay her head down between her feet,
i think she was upset becuse i wouldnt give her some of my rost beef, we dont feed her people food!
shes jucy and a clown at times, attacks the wives feet when she gets too close, or walks by, she attacked me lastnight as i walked by and realised i hollered, she left the room looking for a place to hide about half her height crowched down,,
hope these help some twords the shelf kitty, she aint cooperating, she usually puts her feet out near straight in front with her chin resting on the seat, front porch, or leg of chair arm shes on |

i'm a little late getting back to you,i have been looking for the pattern i used for a shelf cat,but haven't had any luck, and i don't remember where i got it.
so i made a rough sketch from the cut-out waste.
hope it is what you want, are can use it to develop a pattern.
