Default "Shades" a practice face

"Shades" is a practice piece. My goal was to take a cutoff that wasn't going anywhere but the scrap bin and see what I could get out of it. I also wanted to practice putting glasses on a face to see what difficulties show up. I have not yet painted him. Colors? Black "plastic" rims, greenish tinge to the lens. A skin tone that is on the darker side. Blond hair. California?? Suggestions?

Thanks everyone. It sure is fun looking at wood and trying to find something in it.
Lonnie, how do you explain all the "junk" wood to your spouse?
Hi Vicki, good teachers lead to good stuff.
