| | Seniors Day on the Local Golf Course Well gand, here is (to my way of thinking) my best carving to date, excluding my wood spirits. I showed him eatlier unpainted. It was suggested I should have a hat on him so here it is, I was also troubled with the hand, it's a hand now rather than wood burnt, altho not the best hand in the world but that will come. Comments are welcome and appreciated. With the hat on, the little guy is now 4 inches.

im afraid your popping them out so fast, "you better not take a cat nap" or the maid will have you hauled out with the wood chips looks much better with the new hand and the paint job |

| | Re: Seniors Day on the Local Golf Course thanks Corey and Thomp, I did the best I could with the hand without doing to drastic a recarve. The next time I should do a little better in the hand department.

| | Re: Seniors Day on the Local Golf Course Thank you all for the kind words. The suggestions that were previously offered sure worked as for the hand and the hat. Funny thing, my son gave me a micrometer last week (the thing you make inside measurments with, I think that's what it's called) anyway it sure worked to help me hollow out the hat to fit the head, sort of fun doing it really. Now I can see how Lynn carves this and that separately on all his stuff, next thing I'm gonna try and carve me some arms.
