Default Sea Captain

This is the first full figure I have done in awhile and this guy has a full figure I think I will make this one part of a scene. He is my version of Pete LeClaire's Seaman Kallop. He is ready to paint now and I will post pics of the finished figure when he is done, maybe yet today. He is from basswood and about 2 3/4 wide and 7 inches tall.

Thanks for looking as always.

Corey

Very nice carving of the seaman. Looking forward to seeing the paint job. Is this a pattern from one of Pete's books?

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Robert, no he is not in one of the books but the pattern is available at the Woodcarvers Ezine. Along with colored photos.
