I think I've changed that bulb 'cept there was a trashcan on a chair to make it a little more dangerous.

Blake, the main pole is one piece. the bind is a oak twig. cut it green bend to the shape you wont. tie it off and put in the microwave oven for 2 0r 3 min. take the bark of before shaping.

As a former electrician, I'm sure this is the proper method to change a light bulb. Great work and thanks for the tip.
