Default Sci-Fi Miniature

Had anyone seen Stargate SG-1, here is a serpent Guard carved on the top of a pencil. The staff weapon is added.

I have not a camera with zoom, so the photo is a bit blurry, I hope you still could see it.

Awesome! You should carve a set of the whole cast!

What tools do you use to carve something so small?

I watched a short program on a man neamed Ramsey who carved toothpicks. He is in the Guinness record for carving the longest chain, in a toothpick. He also carved seeds. Most of his tools were made my him. I was amazed at what he had carved and they were excellent pieces. Not only chains but Indian heads, monkys , animals, well ya get the picture.
The program was way to short but was glad I saw it.

I use scalpels to carve the pencils. They are very sharp, but are not made to last so I frequently use 2 or 3 sheets in one figure. I use toothpicks to paint it.
