| | Santas and Geezer and a knife Hi All,
Haven't posted anything for awhile so this is kind of a hodgepoge of mostly caricature stuff! The first is an 6" tall inebriated geezer I am working on for a scene which I hope I will finish up this month. I'll keep ya posted . The second picture is a couple Santa ornaments, 4" tall that are ready for painting. They are based on Mark Gargac's "Carving Santa Ornaments" DVD which is an excellent resource. Thank's Mark, I don't think you could have made the DVD any better as it is more great than excellent. Would that be excellenter? The third item is the description of a knife I bought from Thomp. A spalded maple handle holds the German straight rasor blade that was ground into a fine carving knife. I would give Thomp my highest recommendation for making a great carving knife if ya need one! Guess that's it for now.

| | Re: Santas and Geezer and a knife I'm looking forward to seeing more of that scene, Jim. It's not an LSU fan on Bourbon Street, is it? (Ducking).

| | Re: Santas and Geezer and a knife Thanks Windsong, I'll post the finished geezer!
Hi Cotton, yes I can take a drubbing;O( I got a poster with a Block O and 9 with the caption "Truth Hurts" because Kent State doesn't really prepare you for the SEC (in reference to Ohio State Buckeyes loss to LSU ;O((.
Thanks Bart, will get the scene done as quick as possible.
Hey Gene, Thanks for the compliments! Will keep the post alive with the geezer scene.

Thanks for the compliment! I do enjoy the knife, and it's perfect for me, because I carve really slow;O)

You are a master at those faces. I love to see your work. I think you could write a book on carving faces. Thanks for showing.....Myron
