I did a carving like this one not to long ago, ...i have done it again for a friend who sold me a pickup load of bass wood ......almost like you get from heinecke........my friend asked me to carve him a western carving for him......I had this on the shelf ...not painted ,,so I painted it and in the process to giving it to him.... this is my 113 carving....I have done 149 .....so you can see its a old 2007 model.

Hello Jim,

I saw your carving in the gallery and was quite taken with him. He's very well done and emits just the right "attitude." I was running around the board yesterday trying to find this thread so I could post my comment.

Great job.

Jim ,

It is really something. Awesome detail, outstanding paint job. A redo or not great piece.

He has a great caricature air about him, Jim. The right touch of charm. Your friend should be well pleased.
