Default Recent Carving

Hi all,

We need a bit of activity in this forum so I'll picture of a recent carving. It's supposed to be a salesman that will be a gift for a realtor friend when he sells our house. It's carved from basswood and simply has Deft semi-gloss clear finish sprayed on it.

For the most part it's ok, but I was not real happy about the head and face. I just got Marv K.'s new book and the techniques in it are great. I felt better about my first try using his techniques than any of the heads I've done so far.

Mike
