Default Ready to Ride

Here's my latest completed carving. He's about 13" tall without the base. He sure was fun to carve and paint. If I could change one thing it would be the bridle. After I made it, I dipped it into gun bluing to give it an aged look. I think it would have looked better if I had left it nice and shiny. Oh well, you live and learn. I'm always looking for ways to improve, so let me know what you really think.

Tom, if you're referring to the "Quigley" challenge, I can hardly wait. I've had a hard time not getting an early start with all the ideas bouncing around in my noggin. But, I'm holding off for the official start, it's worse than waiting for Christmas.
