I do look forward to seeing Judy. Your Punch carving is terrific.
I forgot to mention for a reference that I have door stops cast in iron of Punch and Judy. My son was always afraid of them. He doesn't like clowns either.

My memories of them are of puppets beating each other with a big club.

Don't expect a pic too soon, my painter is covered up right now getting ready for Santa.I will post it whenever I can. Meanwhile how'se about sending me a pic of your doorstops, a close up side view and front. I may never do any more of them but just in case, pics would be nice to have.These two I have done are mostly from my memory (bad) and imagination.

These are images of my PUnch and Judy door stops. I never really appreciated them as a woodcarving subject until I saw yours.
Hope you can see them clearly enough to enjoy them.

Hmmm, that Judy looks like I remember her from my childhood, and with the same features that I tried to describe in an earlier post in this thread.
