Default Progress on my Zorro figure....

I worked on the Zorro figure bust today.
I whittled a sizeable chunk of bass wood down into the basic form, and am happy with my progress so far.
The figure will be mounted on some sort of oak front support piece, with the "Z" slash carved into the front.
Still have to do the arms, gloves, and sword, and pose them, then I can start the final detailing.
One things for sure, the painting won't be hard to decide on. Black all over, except the skin.
Wonder if Zorro was Johnny Cash's great great great granddaddy?? both wore all black. :lol

That is shaping up to be a good carving. Great job. Quite the undertaking.
