Hello all,

This is a pinewood derby car I made and raced a year or so ago in my nephew's adult class. It is infact the first and only time I carved pine, wasn't to bad but splintered terribly. It did win the adult class and beat the boy scout winner in one of three heats.
I carved in the bear's eyes then epoxed in the lens area.
It was kinda fun makin it and really fun seeing how it had inspired the scout's cars at the next race. There were pocket knives, a surf board, and a 4 wheeled ATV. Some really creative stuff.

Great idea. Like the little guy in control. Tried one myself once - dolphin - got nowhere for speed - 3rd in class. Thanks for sharing.
