Do It Yourself chanel

Nah we do not get that either in this small country town of Texas

Don't think we got it when I lived in Texas City and digital cable from Time Warner either. At least i do not remember ever seeing it.

My 12 year old grandson showed me how to find the DIY channel when I told him we didn't receive it.

Our cable suscription is up 1 step fropm basic. He showed me if I go to guide and then Lifestyles I could find DIY channels. I always went to menu and that didn't show me anything. By the way I still haven't found any caring programs on when I have thought to look. Maybe I need to get my grandson back to help me.

Yep
the kids can find anything on the TV

My Ex wife's son even figured out how to order the pay per view movies. I thought I that feature blocked and password protected.

Never heard of the DIY channel until you folks mentioned it. But then I subscribe to Cable TV up here in the great white north (and believe me its really white right now). The only way to get it up here is to steal satalite TV but that is not in my code of ethics so I guess I will wont get a chance to see the program either.

Collin
I have some good friends that live a couple miles from me. They just switched from cable to dish network (satalite).
They do not get it either. They got over 100 chanels, but I think about 30 of them are in Spanish. The Spanish chanels are of no use to them since no one in their household speaks Spanish.

Default DIY on TV

I've got DISH and DIY is a part of their America's Top 180 package.

The series was pretty fair but to echo someone else's sentiment, there's only about 18 - 20 minutes of "meat" per show.

Oh well, someone has to pay the freight. I taped the five shows, so I can review them to see what I missed.

I remember when cable was supposed to be the "No commercial" option to broadcast TV......that was one of the reason for the monthly fees. That didn't last very long.
