Default Pete Ortel carving class

Has anyone out there attended a Pete Ortel carving class? The reason I ask is that I am still very much a novice carver and didn't want to attend a class that is way over my ability.

I have never attended his (or any other) classes, but I would say it probably isnt over your level. Woodcarving isnt astrophysics, it's one of those things that you jump in and do. Dont be afraid to try something, that might be too difficult, you may suprise yourself! Go for it.

Lorax, Thanks for the vote of confidence. However, I am not selling myself short. I have been progressing nicely since I have started but I have heard that some classes expect a certain speed to keep up with the class or experiance using power carving equipment and such. I was just wondering if this is one of those classes.
