Default Pete Leclair work shop

I had the privilege to go to a 4 day workshop with Pete Leclair we had a choice with the cutout whether we wanted to do a hobo ,hillbilly or cowboy .I wanted to do the cowboy .painted the eyes and teeth but left him natural .lately I've preferred the natural look or is I painted before to cover up mistakes but that's a differant story hope you like .

Great carving. I would love to take a class with Pete, met him several years ago while he was instructing but I was unale to attend the whole weekend. Keep up the good work.

That is really great work. And I like that you started with a cutout rather than a roughout....more your piece that way to my way of thinking. wonderful job of clean cuts, and he has a great expression.

Definitely one to be proud of Mike. Looks like you have one waiting in the background ready for the knife. This one will test you to see how much you remember. It is good to carve another one right away while it is fresh in the old noggin.

Great job, Tom

Nicely done Breezly. I love the belly button sticking out of the shirt. Great detail.
