Default Painted and Finished Carving..

Here is the final figure all painted up. Painted with artist oils and finished with satin lacquer. Thanks for looking,

Thanks all, I appreciate it. Cliff, he is about 4 inches tall.

Gene, I was out all last week as well and in Abilene, Tx on business. Will be in Ca all next week. Looking forward to the next video!

Thanks John, Bonnie and Lonnie. Lonnie I used oils and applied them in washes with turpentine. I painted the whole figure and then applied a shot of lacquer to dry the oils and then used a dark wash on the face, hair etc. then dry brushed over that. Pretty much the same techinique that Tom Wolfe has used for a long time.
