Sears catalogs yes, but you keep those corn cobs to yourself! We picked mullen leaves before going in, in the summertime...wide, soft and fuzzy...maybe better than tp!
My Dad told me that on Halloween night he and his brothers would move outhouses back a few feet...best wait for daylight or carry a lantern!

| | Re: Out West Executive Washroom Yep, I remember when my Dad and my uncles put an inside bathroom in my grandmothers house....geez, you would think it was the 4th of July or something ha ha.......even had indoor running water! It's too bad, but the current generation has their electronic technology and think its the greatest thing since sliced bread...in fact, they don't remember unsliced bread ha ha.....they have missed a lot! Great times, great fun, great get togethers, honesty, integrity .... |

| | Re: Out West Executive Washroom I agree Lynn with Wade you seem to do your carvings really fast but the quality is supurb. It reminds me of a door I did for an out house at a millionair's cottage a few years ago. I did a woodspirit full length for the door. He asked me to come up with a caption for the outhouse. So over the top of the woodspirit I put a sign "Let the Spirit Move You". When I think of that I bet you could come up with a great caracture of that. BTW the client loved the carving and inscription.

Excellent work sir, most excellent. Brings back memories of using the outdoor privy at my uncles farm house in rural North Carolina back in the '60's.Really nice work sir!
