Default Ol' Brushy Bill

Here is a little bust I just finished. I made the glass frames out of wire. Comments welcome!

Nice one Lynn, nice touch with the feather really adds more character to your caricature.

Great carving, Lynn - please tell me it took you 2 or 3 days of full-time carving

No commission, just whittled him this past Tuesday during a local carvers gabfest. Painted him and turned the base yesterday. A real quicky!!

The glasses are made from wire, bent to shape, soldered, painted and then inserted into holes.

Great piece. I like the feather and beaded hatband. Not sure how you carved that during a carvers gabfest. I tend to pay all my attention to carving, because if I don't I wind up bloody ;O). The cowboy bottlestopper I carved from your pattern took me at least 10 hours to finish so I won't win any prizes for speed. I am thankful you have that ability, because we will get to see your results that much sooner. Thanks for sharing.
