Oops, I should have read more before posting in your other thread, Tom.

I'll send you a whole pot of coffee in exchange for one of those when you get to where you are fully happy with them.

Maybe you should carve an Obama-Claus handing out his "stimulus package". He could be carrying a box wrapped in 100 dollar bills and wearing a santa suit and his white beard could be down on his chest since his face is too skinny to hold it up. That would be a good caricature.

Great work on Obama! I think you have nailed him also!

Tom,

i think yer close to getting him right,,,

you got me interested to see if i could provide a little lazy competition...
he is 1-7/8" tall from neck to top of head, and 3/4's" ear to ear..

paint color roman terracotta lips, skin tone was latte,
hair was done with fine tip underwear marker pupils black paint with pin point,
pearl white eyes and teeth..

done since 8pm this evening.. now looking more like president ragan....

Bill, you got it all wrong about me carving small and the details. I carve small so I don't have to carve the details. But thanks for the nice comments,

Cliff, Thanks, but the more I try the worse they seen to get. I may move on the R. Blogoyovich.

Forrest, Thanks, but I've got a long way to go yet.

Thank you aulddiy, for the comments.

i think the shortcoming is between the cheeks and chin mine isent in proper portion, to thin out the chin i would have to had lost that mouth full of pearly whites.....
