Ah....but Dave.....I did this right after he collected his bet from Lorena. That curl was all gone by then.

Very nice. I can't believe how quickly and nicely some people can carve.

Are those darker lines on his clothing from a burner?

Why did you make him better looking than he really is? Since he is the "Hope" canidate I guess he can hope he looks that good some day.

Hey Lynn, I had stated in an earlier post that it would take me a couple a few weeks to do a piece like that. I forgot to mention the years of practice before I could even come close to a piece that actually looks like the subject, lol.
You're one outstanding carver my friend!!
P.S. I would love to see John McCain, and maybe even Jessie Jackson. Hey, and while you're at it, how about Hillary.
