Default Nixon, My latest carving
Hey All
Here are some pics of my latest carving. I call him Nixon, well because he looks like Nixon, not that he is supposed to or that I set out to carve Nixon because I didn't it just turned out that way. Thanks for taking the time to view it and any and all comments and suggestions are welcome. He started out as a Pete Leclair pattern, sorry Pete didn't mean to disquise him so well that you couldn't recognize him.

He's not a crook Mark, but he is a nice little carving. Certainly has that grumpy ol look that Nixon had. Pete's style is really fun.

Hey Mark good to see you are carving again. I got a good chuckle on that first pic,way to go. Those cheek flaps I can still see him shakeing them. Like it alot Mark!

Bonnie and Ed - Glad that you could see the resemblence

Gene - Always an honor, you know everytime I start a carving now I find myself hearing you say, now Mark remember the head is like an egg. Thanks again.

Tom - Thanks and yes, Pete's style is fun. He is truly a talent.

Curt - My ole frend it is good to be back at it. Still having issues with the hand but they are not going to do anything with it at least not for awhile so what the heck, if your gonna hurt you might as well have fun doing it. Thanks for looking and commenting.
