Default Newest C.O.Trygg Purchase

I just received this 10" Blacksmith; it is missing the tongs but that should be a simple fix.
Carl Olaf Trygg carved it in Sweden in 1955. Those are finished horseshoes in front of the stump.

Rick; great looking carving. Did you get it on E bay? Re; catalogs you sent. My 1st class is cancelled. We have 15" of snow on the ground here in Northern Philadelphia and it's still coming down. Even so - The Eagles will win the football game today, snow or no snow. Big Al

With all that snow on the ground
How are the fans going to get to the game
How are the teams going to get to the game

I know that they will get there
I personally believe that all football and baseball stadiums should be enclosed
amd or have a retractable roof

That way no baseball games would be posponed due to rain

Football games would be won or lost by the better team
Fans would not freeze their a-- off watching a game in the freezing cold
and snow
Players have a tendency to receive severe injuries while playing on a frozen field

Yes, I did purchase it on Ebay for $93.00

Too bad about the class.

Oh man! How come you find the good stuff?

What a find and what an addition to a wood carving collection. I don't check ebay very often and NEVER find anything like that.

Good buy!

Big Wayne. We had 15" of snow is Philly. They hire 750 men to shovel and clean the seats
. They new stadium has HEATED turf. They dump all the snow in the Delaware river. Put your money on the Eagles for the super bowl. Big Al

Rick, That is one beautiful carving. It gives me a warm feeling just looking at it and thinking about how it was probably carved with a pocket knife in front of the fireplace. Mike

Nancy,
If I told all my secrets, I probably would not find many good deals.
I suggest spending some time refining a few "saved searches" until they locate what you are hoping to find.

Example: I search for carved wooden pliers.
My searches are:
"Carved Pliers"
"Carved Whimsey"
"Tramp Carved"
"Wooden Pliers"
Ebay automatically emails me when a listing matches one of those.
