 new book just received mike shipleys new book woodcarving country folk. well folks i think this is one of the finest carving books that has come out in long time,i think this is gonna be a fun book to have and carve from. check it out if you have a chance. just my 2 cents worth bart  |

| Re: new book I have the book also, but even better, I spent this past weekend carving with Mike. Had a great time, learned a lot, and after 2 days had completed 3 carvings. (A first for me, I'm not a fast carver). His carving style is fairly simple, but he gets enough detail in to really make them great carvings. I'm looking forward to working my way through his book. |
