 Never hit a Birdie putt short...or..."Hit it Alice" Here's a golfer I just finished finally...just in time for my Dad's birthday. The figure is Mtn Laurel and the base is Nutmeg. Thanks Keoma. It's 7inches tall and the base is 10 inches long. I made the putter out of a piece of heavy wire. Any and all constructive criticism appreciated. Thanks for looking. Mike G. in SC  i   |

| Re: Never hit a Birdie putt short...or..."Hit it Alice" Thanks for the comments. Yes Laurel is very hard, but I like carving it. Perhaps it's because I get it for free. I have a whole pile of it, enough to keep me in carving wood beyond retirement.  As for the expression on the golfer's face, I've had that feeling several times, especially on the 18th green at High Hampton Country Club. Mike G. in SC |
