Thanks everyone for the advice. A natural finish was most popular, so that's what I did. I used a Watco danish oil and will put some wax on after it sits for a day. Cliff,no I haven't conqured this hobby yet although thanks for the compliment. I am still learning. Woodcarving is an addiction for me. There isn't a day that goes by I don't think about carving. Here is the finished product
