| | I need some opinions I just finished a Harold Enlow roughout and wanted an opinion. Do I paint it or leave it natural ala Marv Kaisersatt. The photo shows the carving wet after cleaning and I kind of like the looks of it. What do you all think? |

| | Re: I need some opinions don,
what about a limited amount of paint, like just eyes and teeth and then give it a natural finish like a coat of wax or blo or poly whatever is your liking, i agree also great carving really like those flowers.

| | Re: I need some opinions Don, personally, I think you should find another hobby, you've totally conquered this one. That's a beautiful piece and I agree with some of the others, a very light color wash would go a long way, thanks for showing such a nice carving.

| | Re: I need some opinions I think it looks good natural, but if you do decide to paint, use very very very thin washes - I think it'd be best with just a hint of color on the clothing, and as bart says, the teeth and eyes could have a little more opaque white.
