Default My Jack Price characters...

Just finished a Jack Price challenge duo. Mini-loggers, so they will fit in with the other little loggers I did.
I can't post thumbnails, you'll need to look at my gallery or go to the members image galleries and look under charicature catagory.

He must be the boss Kris, sitting down on the job like that. I like the little notch in the log for a seat. Keep it up and you are going to have to build a bunkhouse for the whole crew. Or maybe a treehouse.

Great work, Tom

Hmmm, Tom I think you are looking at the first group. Nobody is sitting down with this pair. Look under Charicature catagory.

Kris:
Your PM mailbox is full!

I was going to send this as a PM, but then thought others may not know this info...

Nice carvings, Kris!
I noticed when I expanded one of the photos in the gallery, that the grass behind the carvings was in perfect focus, but the carvings were not.

Most digital cameras, as you slowly press the shutter button, will focus on what is exactly in the center of the field of view. This is often indicated by a little square in the viewfinder that suddenly gets smaller, and then you hear the click. What you can do is center the square on one of the carvings, then squeeze the shutter button half way until you see the square suddenly become smaller. The camera is now focused exactly on the carving. Without releasing the shutter button, swing the camera sideways a little to get both carvings in view, then finish pressing down on the shutter button to take the photo.

Hope this helps...
Claude
