Default My Indian

Hey guys, here is a carving I done today while watching some football and basketball. Go Lady Vols.

He is carved from a 2"x2"x3" block of wood. I wanted an Indian and I could not figure out what was missing or went wrong. I knew I could not carve a head dress yet; so I was just going to put hair on him. After finishing my wife said "why didn't you put a head band on him" I could have kicked my self, I believe that would have really made a big difference. Oh well maybe on the next one.

I don't have the paint or ability to make good skin color yet, so I just dipped him in Golden Oak stain. I was actually kind of impressed with the stain.

Sean

Hi Sean, that's pretty good for one sitting. It would have taken me weeks if not months. Keep up the good work.

Nice job. Like the others, I am wowed that you did this all in one sitting. I can't say how long it would take me because I don't think I could even do it.
