Default My golf ball guy #1

I carved this little golfer for a friend of ours. I started with a piece of basswood 2-1/2” x 2-1/4” x 12” tall. The base finished at 2-1/4” square but the head ended up 2-1/2” front to back (because of that big nose) and I made the head 2-1/4” wide. The carving ended up 11-1/2” tall. The slots in front and sides of the base are 1-1/4” wide x 2-5/8” tall. I made the rear slot 1-1/2” wide to make it a bit easier to get the ball in. Hope you all like it…..Myron

I really like that, Myron. I've been threatening to do one of those for some time -- I only hope that, when I do, it comes out half as well as yours.
